James M. Fitzgerald, 42, of St. Louis, Mo., born June 8, 1961, in Belleville, Ill., died Wednesday, Dec. 17, 2003, at Barnes-Jewish Hospital, St. Louis, Mo.
He was preceded in death by his father, James T. "Fitz" Fitzgerald; his paternal grandparents, Edward and Margaret Fitzgerald and his maternal grandfather, James (Musco) Combetto.
Surviving are his mother, Joyce M., nee Combetto, Fitzgerald of Collinsville, Ill.; his maternal grandmother, Priscilla Combetto of Collinsville, Ill.; two brothers, James Timothy (Toni) Fitzgerald of Dallas, Texas, and Thomas Patrick (Bev) Fitzgerald of Harvast, Ala.; a sister, Kelly (Boyd) Bermel of Waterloo, Ill.; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers or plants memorials are requested to Doorways Supportive Housing Facility, Maryland, St. Louis, Mo. 63108 or in the form of Masses to Ss. Peter and Paul Catholic Church.
Visitation: There will be no visitation.
Funeral: A graveside service will be held at noon Saturday, Dec. 22, 2003, at Ss. Peter and Paul Catholic Cemetery and a memorial Mass will be held at 6:30 p.m. Monday, Dec. 22, 2003, at the Ss. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Collinsville, Ill., with The Rev. John Beveridge officiating.
