Christy Ford Died Last Friday

Christy Ford, 70, father of Phillis Wehling, died Friday, Feb, 8, 1985, on a farm north of Kingman, while feeding cattle. Born Dec. 18, 1914, at Nashville, he married Viola Nossman Sept. 11, 1933, at Kingman. He was a retired farmer and had been a resident of the Isabel community most of his life, moving to Kingman in 1980.

Other survivors: wife, of the home; son, Jack, Kingman; brothers, Roy and Stanley, both of Isabel; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Funeral was 10:30 a.m. Monday at the Livingston Funeral Home, Kingman. Father Paul Oborny officiated. Burial was at the Walnut Hill Cemetery, Kingman. Memorials to the Golden Valley Parks and Recreation, in care of the funeral home.
