Joseph Henry Alexander was born in Cecil Co., MD, on New Munster tract. His first wife's name is lost to us (could be Hannah, but this is a pure guess, joseph and wife #1's last dau. was "Hannah" and another of their daus., Eliza Jane, named her first dau. "Hannah"), but with her, he sired 8 children. His second wife was a Mayflower descendant named Mary Alden, and with her, Joseph sired ten more children (all together: 9 daughters and 9 sons). He was an Elder at Head of Christiana in 1831.
