He owned a capital messuage in the Parish of St. Mary-le-Bow, London. On 16 July 1578 Robert Pemberton was buried. He was descended from the Ancient and Knightly House of Pemberton of Pemberton County Lanes. The funeral certificate of his son Roger states that his ancestors came out of Cheshire. On 30 September 1578 the administration on his estate was granted to his widow Katherine Stokes Pemberton.
