The Lexington Herald says:"Mrs. W. M. Gulley died at 7 o'clock Friday morning at her late residence, 103 Spring street, after nearly two years illness of consumption. Mrs. Gulley was the wife of W. M. Gulley, who is a traveling salesman for the firm of Martin & Woolfolk. She leaves two brothers, W. T. and J. C. Woolfolk, of this city. Mr. and Mrs. Gulley had no children. Mrs. Gulley was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Woolfolk, of Garrard county, and was a woman of rare christian virtues. The funeral took place last evening at 7:30 o'clock from the residence. Rev. I. J. Spencer of the Central Christian Church officiating. The services were held at night, so the funeral cortege might get an early start this morning as it will drive through to Lancaster, Ky., where the body will be interred at 2 o'clock in the Lancaster Cemetery."

Mrs. Gulley was formerly from Garrard county, and a lovely christian woman indeed. She leaves a husband, mother and four sisters, Mrs. Robert Gulley, Mrs. L. Broaddus, Mrs. J. D.
