Mary E. Barnhart "Momo", age 70, of Iberia passed away on Wednesday, June 6, 2012, at University Hospital in Columbia. She was born in Brumley on December 5, 1941, daughter of the late Nole and Leona (Morrow) Robinett. On July 10, 1960, in Tuscumbia, Mary married Elmer "Buddy" Francis Barnhart, who preceded her in death on June 3, 2007.

She is survived by one son, Larry Barnhart and wife Wendy of Iberia; four granddaughters, Jessica Barnhart of Iberia, Amanda Barnhart of Springfield, Nikki Barnhart of Iberia, and Kurstyn Barnhart of Camdenton; two great-grandchildren, Haley Francis and Tristyn Nutsch; four sisters, Alice Ash and husband Leman of Iberia, Debbie Davenport of Ulman, June Kaiser and husband Howard of Brumley, and Cindy Colvin and husband Tim of Iberia; one brother, Leslie Robinett and wife Marvella of Columbia; one brother-in-law, Ralph Forbis of Iberia; and several nieces and nephews.

She was also preceded in death by two sisters, Betty English and Marg Forbis and one grandchild, Taylor Barnhart.

Visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m., with services immediately following at 4 p.m., on Saturday, June 9, 2012, at Fancher-Rekus Funeral Home in Iberia. Bro. Gene Edwards will officiate. Interment will be in Mt. Zion Cemetery near Tuscumbia. Memorial contributions are suggested to the Mary Barnhart Memorial Fund.
