Emma was adopted from a terrible shelter. She had 3 legs and had been very sick. Emma gave us so much love. She loved to have me rock and sing to her. She was quite the feisty one when a new member came into the home! She loved her bouncer and as time went on stayed on the dinning room table in a box. where she would keep watch over everything. She had tuna in the morning and at night along with her regular food. (Someone once saw me take a bite and thought I was eating her cat food) She spent the last few years on the table and last night came down to the shop. Her Dr. was wonderful. We had changed Dr.'s. He gave her a shot to put her to sleep PRIOR to putting her "down" I have asked for this all the time from other Dr's. and they refused. I never understood this. (If you read this please ask your Dr. to do this) NO animal should have a hard death. We were blessed to have Emma in our lives. We are so thankful that Emma had a calm death.
