Ronald J. Peer, 66, of South Greensburg, died Friday June 8, 2012, in Excela Health Westmoreland Hospital. He was born May 4, 1946, in Greensburg, a son of the late Samuel and Alma (Woll) Peer. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Eugene, Thomas, David and Donald Peer. Ron was employed as a printer at Commercial Printing, Greensburg, a past member of the Jeannette Moose and a former member of the Sheffield VFW Post 8755. He is survived by his wife, Linda (Frye), of South Greensburg; his sister, Darlene Stevenson and her husband, Lee, of Greensburg; a sister-in-law, Louise Peer, of Latrobe; and nieces and nephews, Jim and Charlotte Peer, Tom and Amy Peer, Diane and Ken Bradford, F. William Peer and Mrs. Donna Wooldridge. Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday in the COSHEY-NICHOLSON FUNERAL HOME INC., 319 W Pittsburgh St., Greensburg, PA 15601. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home with Pastor Daniel Defassio officiating. Interment will be held at Twin Valley Memorial Park following the service.
