Robert Scrabeck, 75, of Harmony
Robert Scrabeck, 75, of Harmony, died on Dec. 23, 1997, at Saint Marys Hospital, Rochester.
He was born Oct. 22, 1922, in Fillmore County, the son of Carl and Margaret (Deamon) Scrabeck. He was united in marriage to Helen Matthews on Oct. 26, 1951, at the Lutheran parsonage in Harmony. They made their home in the area and he worked for farmers in the area.
He is survived by his wife, Helen; children, David of Preston, Carl of Ackley, Iowa, Linda Novak and Sandra Scrabeck, both of Rochester; five grandchildren; and a brother, Richard Scrabeck of Visalia, Calif. He was preceded in death by a brother, Warden.
Services were held at the Lindstrom Funeral Home in Harmony on Wednesday, Dec. 24, with the Rev. Jon Sorum officiating. Burial was in the Greenfield Cemetery in Harmony.
Lindstrom Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
