Survivors include his wife, Frances Cato Hobby of Broxton, GA; one son Douglas (Sherry) Hobby of Madison, OK; four sisters, Dorothy Lankford and Leitha Bush both of Douglas, Ga, Thelma Wooten of Broxton, GA and Jan Johnson of Hampton, GA; three grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren and several nieces, nephews, friends and other relatives.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, December 15, 2016 at 11:00 A. M. at the Chapel of Ricketson Funeral Home with Rev. Donnie Kirkland and Rev. George Carroll Paulk officiating. The interment will follow in Reedy Branch Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends, Wednesday, December 14, 2016 from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. at Ricketson Funeral Home. Ricketson Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
