Docia Marldene (Richardson) Bryant was born in Prairie Point, TX on March 24, 1923 to Jess Granville and Sadie (Herriage) Richardson. She was a graduate of Business College. Docia married Jesse Joseph Bryant on January 18, 1941 in Bonham, TX; he preceded her in death on February 24, 1996. Docia is a member of Northside Church of Christ, Bonham, TX.
She is survived by Sister- Sara Tidwell of Granbury, TX; Nieces-Brenda Blain of Garland, TX, Barbara Stone of Malakoff, TX, Jackie Daugherty of Pottsboro, TX, Deborah Oxydine of Beaumont, TX; and Nephews-Ronald Crow of Thornton, TX, Glen Crow of Granbury, TX, and Mark Green of Gober, TX.
She is preceded in death by her parents, sister- Wanda Green, and niece- Glenna Crow.
Serving as pallbearers will be Mark Green, Ronald Crow, Glen Crow, Floyd Blain, Jerry Stone, and Tony Daugherty. Honorary pallbearers will be the Elders and Deacons of The Northside Church of Christ.
Family visitation will be held prior to the service starting at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, May 12, 2014 at Cooper-Sorrells Funeral Home.
