Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday at the Alexander Funeral Home, Millersburg, with Pastor Chuck Jarvis officiating. Burial will be at the Killbuck Cemetery, Killbuck. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
He was born May 3, 1951, in Sutton, W.Va., and was the son of Eugene and Helena (Hyer) Barnett.
He was a 1970 graduate of West Holmes High School. Bill was a people person. He loved NASCAR, auctions, fishing and his family. His granddaughter, Bella, was his life.
He is survived by his three sons, Josh (JoAnna) Barnett, Savannah, Ga., Jonathan Barnett, Baltic, and Jordan Barnett, Millersburg; a granddaughter, Isabella Barnett; his mother, Helena Barnett, Millersburg; and two brothers, Terry (Nell) Barnett and Tim Barnett, both of Millersburg.
He was preceded in death by his father, Gene; three brothers, Ricky, Robert and David Barnett; and a sister, Melody McMahan.
