Mrs Ada Glover, a highly respected resident of Riverhead, died at the home of her sister, Mrs Fannie Horton in East avenue on Wednesday. She had been in failing health for several years and had been confined to her bed for the past five weeks.
Mrs Glover was born in Riverhead 75 years ago. For many years she resided in Cutchogue. She had resided with her sister for the greater part of the time since she returned to Riverhead.
Besides the sister, the deceased is survived by her husband David Glover, a daughter Mrs Irad M DeFriest of Bay Shore, and a brother Henry Horton of New York City.
Funeral services will be conducted at Mrs Horton's residence on Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock, the Rev I A Marsland, pastor of the First M E Church, officiating. The interment will be in the Riverhead cemetery.
