She requested to be cremated and her ashes scattered at one of the beaches in the Coos Bay, Oregon area. a few of her ashes are at her brother, and grandparents graves as well as Martha Fox's grave(grandma Martha). Grandparents are LeRoy Dean Breakfield and Sarah Anne Wheeler Breakfield, and Woodrow Edward Pendleton and Nikolina Mildred Pankratz Pendleton. Her brother that preceded her in death is Ivan Joseph Cook II (Joe Pendleton). she was only 6 mo old when her brother died. Now she finally gets to be with him and know him. When her grandpa died a little part of Heather died also. She missed him so much.
I Watch This Child
I watch this child as she grows,
Oh, what a joy to behold,
And only one day old.
I watch this child as she grows,
What the future holds
Only heaven knows.
I watch this child as she grows,
With curley hair, and freckled face,
Can't hold back, must win lifes race.
I watch this child as she grows,
Infant, toddler, child no longer,
A young woman, with real life dreams
and heartaches like a river flows.
I watch this child as she grows,
A beauty to behold.
The prom dress bought with such pride,
hangs beside the cap & gown never to be worn.
But now all we have are memories.
For, this child grows no more.
