Mr. Draper had been in poor health for the past three years and had been hospitalized from time to time during that period.
A physician was called this morning but the attack was too severe for Mr. Draper to survive.
He was born Sept. 1, 1903, at Natural Bridge, a son of William & Mary Rodee [Margaret Rodey] Draper. He grew up in that vicinity and spent most of his life farming. He last worked on a farm near Clayton, until poor health forced him to stop work. He then moved to Watertown.
In 1930, he married the former Edna Calhoun of Wellesley Island, at Ogdensburg.
Surviving are his wife, a son Roy M. Draper, 808 Burchard street; a daughter, Miss Frances Irene [sp Ilene] Draper, at home; a brother, Alfred Draper, Poughkeepsie, and three sisters: Mrs. Lee (Eva) Bolger, Ogdensburg; Mrs. Mae [Nina Mae] Smith, Dover Plains, and Mrs. Frances Bellinger, 721 Hancock street.
Funeral services will be held Thursday afternoon at 2 at the family home, Rev. Lawrence Heatherington of Philadelphia officiating. Burial will be made in Sanfords Corners cemetery, Calcium.
