Celebration of Life: 10 a.m. Monday in the Pat Boze Memorial Chapel, Wayne Boze Funeral Home.

Mr. Hargett was born Oct. 24, 1937, in Fort Worth to John Henry Hargett and Opal Wallace Hargett Lockett. He entered the U.S. Navy in 1954, serving in the Korean conflict. Mr. Hargett married Jeanne Jones Aug. 8, 1983, in Mansfield.
Mr. Hargett was a general contractor in the residential and commerical fields. He retired in 1998 at Circle H Builders. He was an avid golfer and fisherman.
Survivors: Wife, Jeanne Hargett of Waxahachie; sons, Michael Hargett of Austin and Nathan King of Lake Worth; sister, Jackie Martin of Arlington.
