POQUOSON - Carrie "Irene" Page, 81, a native and lifelong resident of Poquoson, passed away Sunday, April 11, 2010 at Riverside Regional Medical Center.

She was a lifetime member of Trinity United Methodist Church, Poquoson. Irene retired after 50+ years of service as a bookkeeper for Riggins Motor Company in Poquoson. She was a wonderful aunt who gave unselfish love to her family, and was a "true caregiver" to all.

Irene was preceded in death by her father, John T. Page; her mother, Eva Irene Page; a sister, Nellie Parker; a half-sister, Josie Pankoke; and a nephew, Earl Trice.

She is survived by her brother, Thomas N. Page and wife, Joan Page; a sister, Geneive Leonard; a nephew, Roy Leonard; three nieces, Gloria Trice, Suzanne Page, and Jean Lee Smith; great-nephew, George Trice and wife, Marie; great great-nephew, George Trice; great great-niece, Gracie Trice; and many other nieces and nephews who were very special to her.
