Pollye Ione Bailey, 67, of Burleson passed away Wednesday, April 11, 2012, in Dallas. Graveside service: 2 p.m. Saturday in Greenacres Memorial Park in Cleburne. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Mountain Valley Funeral Home.
Pollye was born Oct. 28, 1944, in Blum to Clarence Ray and Vola Bell Davis Gorman. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She loved gardening, antiquing and her puppies. Pollye was a heart transplant patient and survived 15 years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Bailey, and brother, Clarence Ray Gorman Jr.
Survivors: Daughters, Deedy Snider and husband, Tim, of Joshua, Rana Turner of Oklahoma and Barbra Hobbs and partner, Cody, of Burleson; brothers, Morris Jewett and wife, Betty, of Cleburne and James Gorman and wife, Lisa, of Valero; sisters, Brenda Joyce Rogers of Joshua and Linda Howell of Lake O' the Pines; grandchildren, Brandi, Tanya, Timmy, Jerry, David, Sirous, Ethan and Hailey; nine great-grandchildren.
