Freida Joyce Tisdale was the youngest of ten children born to William David and Clara Mae Tisdale and raised on a farm in Clark County, Wisconsin. She married Russell Everd Poppe November 17, 1937 and moved to Chicago, Illinois where which they had one daughter named Sharlene Leora Poppe. After divorcing sometime after 1940 she married Wayne Edward Antrup October 6, 1945 and moved to Arlington, Texas where they purchased a home in 1953 and adopted and raised her granddaughter, Pamela. Freida worked for Comet Cleaners and Wayne for then Chance Vought Aircraft. In 1962 they started their own cleaning service called Freway Service during such time acquired a reputable clientel, employed several crew members and made a comfortable living. Many of their clients and crew remained friends until passing. They retired in 1989. Freida was a calm yet stern and strong woman. She was raised old school and believed in it. She passed away quietly in her bedroom at home after a lengthy battle with cancer and is buried just two blocks from her home of fourty three years and next to her husband of over fifty one years. She was survived by her husband Wayne and daughter Sharlene, and is survived by grandchildren Pamela, Bill, and Kawanna, great grandchildren Tiffany, Aaron and Christopher and one great, great granddaughter, Angel.
