Mrs. Harriet (Wall) Shoemaker, 93, of 1521 Franklin street, died at 9 p.m. Thursday at Home hospital. A life-long resident of Tippecanoe county, she was born near Clark’s Hill, and was married there December 16, 1874, to Richard Shoemaker. Until 1944 she lived on a farm near Stockwell, but at that time moved to Lafayette, where she made her home with her daughter, Miss Grace Shoemaker, her only survivor. She attended the old Stockwell academy, and was a member of Stockwell Methodist church.
