Florence Cook Bourgoin, age 83 of Brick, died Wednesday, December 7, 2011 at CareOne at Wall.
Born in Long Branch, she had lived in Brick for the past 4 years. Florence was the manager of the luncheonette at J.J. Newberry Store in Long Branch, retiring 22 years ago.
Florence was predeceased by her husband, Roger in 2002.
Surviving are her 4 daughters and 2 sons in law, Patricia and Frank Januszeski of Brick, Marchelle Laura of Howell, Jill Scataglia and her significant other, Larry Santaniello of Long Branch, Cynthia and Michael Ferrara of Wall; 8 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday December 9 from 4-8 pm at the Damiano Funeral Home, 191 Franklin Ave, (corner of Third Ave), Long Branch. Funeral Saturday, December 10, 10:00 am at the funeral home with the funeral service to begin at 10:30 am. Interment will follow at Glenwood Cemetery, West Long Branch.
