Harold Robert Lafon, 68, of Beckley died Friday, May 1, 1998, in a Beckley hospital after a long illness. He was a factory worker, member of Good Shepherd Catholic Church, Columbia, KY, and an Army veteran.
Surviving: daughter, Faith Marie Lafon of Kentucy; brother, Daniel Belcher of Hoschton, GA; sister, Audrey McKinney of Fayetteville; companion, Tena Crook of Beckley.
Service will be 3 p.m. Sunday at Blue Ridge Funeral Home, Prosperity, with the Rev. Ray Stewart, the Rev. Vic Reasoner, and the Rev. Herbert McKinney Jr., officiating. Burial will be in St. Michael's Catholic Cemetery, St. Michael, PA. Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
