Prince George`s Teenager Dies in Car Crash
A 16-year-old from Prince George`s County was killed in a car crash Tuesday afternoon in Northeast Washington, D.C. police said.
David Duarte of the 5000 block of 54th Place was a passenger in a Chevrolet Monte Carlo that collided with a Chevrolet Avalanche at 4:45 p.m. at South Dakota Avenue and Eighth Street.
The driver and another passenger in the Monte Carlo were treated for minor injuries, police said. The driver and passengers in the Avalanche were not injured.
Police are investigating but said the driver of the Monte Carlo failed to yield the right of way.
