EVANS, Ga. - Mr. John Charles Allen, Sr., 83, of Evans, beloved husband of Mrs. Louise H. Allen, died Monday, January 3, 2005, at St. Joseph Hospital. The funeral will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday at Warren Baptist Church. Burial will follow at Westover Memorial Park Additional survivors include two sons; Charles Allen, Jr. and wife Kay of Evans, R.W. (Rick) Allen and wife Robin of Augusta; daughter, Kathy A. Strickland and husband Aaron of Carrollton, GA.; eight grandchildren, John C. Allen, III and wife Lillian , Lorraine (Lori) Allen Godowns and husband Luther, Jennifer Allen Green and husband Tee of Carrollton, Andy Allen of Tinjdad Morocco, Molly Allen, Robin Anne Allen, Zack Strickland of Carrollton, and Molly Kate Strickland of Carrollton, GA; four great-grandchildren, Katie Williams, Rachel Allen, Hadley Green, and Wyche Green IV, and numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by; one brother William C. Allen, and one sister Katherin e Allen Marshall.
