Attended Westlake School for Girls, Finch College, and USC, where she was a member of Pi Beta Phi.
She was an active volunteer for many years for the John Tracy Clinic and the Michael Burke Foundation (Voices of Christmas).
Preceded in death by her sister Marie Wells Emrich; the father of her three daughters, Theodore K. Partridge, Jr., her second husband, Charles J. Hutter, and her beloved third husband, Big Band Leader Les Brown.
Survived by her children, Christine Partridge Riedy, Laura Partridge Oppel, and Melissa Partridge; her sons-in-law, Robert Riedy, Andrew Oppel, and Dennis Rosenblatt; her grandchildren, Walker Strangis, Keith Oppel, Ryan Riedy, Travis Rosenblatt and Luke Oppel; and her nieces and nephew, Teri Emrich, Heidi Coppin Gildred, and Marc Emrich.
