William A. "Bill" Berkheimer, 84, of Imler passed away Saturday. He was born in Leamersville, son of the late Anson and Anna (Hancock) Berkheimer. Surviving are his wife, Wilma "Susie" (Ake); a son, George of Laurel, Md.; a grandson; and siblings: Mary Dodson of Claysburg and Ernest of Winchester, Calif. He was preceded in death by a twin brother, George. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Leslie-Miller Funeral Home, Claysburg. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Trinity Reformed Church, Osterburg. Interment will be at Osterburg Cemetery.
