The relatives and friends of Mr. and Mrs. Jimmy Parker are invited to attend the funeral services of the latter, Sunday, February 19, 2012 at 2:00 P.M. in J. HENRY STUHR, INC., NORTH AREA CHAPEL. Interment, Carolina Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at Stuhr's North Area Chapel Saturday between 5:00 and 7:00 P.M.
Mrs. Parker was born February 9, 1941 in Hartsville, SC, the daughter of Laurin McSwain Smith and Bonnie Mae Grant Smith. She was a manager of Southern Loans and a member of Portside Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband of 25 years; one son: Michael Shirley of Charleston, SC; one daughter: Traci Pillow (Tommy) of Lexington, SC; one brother: Laurin "Hugh" Smith (Cheryl) of Orangeburg, SC; one sister Linda Cannon (Tom) of Summerville, SC; three grandchildren: Sarah Shirley, Braden Pillow and Devon Pillow and several nieces and nephews.
