Jeanette M. Calentine, Sarasota, died May 26, 2004. She was born in Warrenton, Va., and came to Sarasota in 1982 from Austin, Texas. She retired from Liggett Drugs. She was a member of American Legion Auxiliary Unit 30 and the Eagles Auxiliary, both of Sarasota. She was Methodist.

Survivors include her husband, Cal; a daughter, Beverly Casaubon of Leander, Texas; a stepdaughter, Susan of Saginaw, Mich.; sons Thurman Coffey of Leander and Jack De Rossett of Sarasota; sisters Laura Jenkins of Amisville, Va., and Jackie Bryant of Sarasota; brothers Sonny Bywaters of Sarasota, Ronnie Bywaters of Arlington, Va., Donnie Bywaters of Boca Raton and Nelson Bywaters of Mission Viejo, Calif.; her father, Arthur L. Bywaters of Sarasota; and 13 grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 9 to 10 a.m. Tuesday, with services to follow, at Palms Funeral Home. Burial will be in Leander. Memorial donations may be made to a favorite charity. Published in Herald Tribune on May 30, 2004
