Peggy Ann Carter, 72, of Front Royal, Virginia died Saturday, March 7, 2009 at her home.
A graveside service will be conducted Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. at Refuge Cemetery by the Rev. Donnie Carter.
Mrs. Carter was born December 9, 1936, in Warren County, Virginia, daughter of the late Marvin Lee and Margaret Andrews McDonald. She was the oldest of 15 children; she was the wife of the late James Carter.
Surviving are four sons, Leonard Cameron of Front Royal, Robert Cameron of Middletown, David Campbell of Gordonsville, and Roger Cameron of Front Royal; a daughter, Peggy Corron of Gore; five brothers; nine sisters; 11 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren.
She was previously married to the late Robert William Cameron.
Funeral arrangements are being handled by Turner-Robertshaw Funeral Home, Front Royal.
