Clifton Otis Saunders, 72, passed away Saturday, Jan. 21, 2012. Graveside service: 3 p.m. Thursday in Mount Olivet Cemetery.
Clifton was born April 25, 1939, in Fort Worth to William and Josephine Saunders. He was a veteran in the U.S. Army. He loved root beer floats, eating Mexican food at Oscars in Haltom City, watching the Dallas Cowboys, the Texas Rangers and NASCAR racing. Clifton was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Jeanne; and stepson, Phillip Bryant.
Survivors: Wife, Dorothy Bryant Saunders; stepdaughter, Sherry Bryant; stepsons, Ricky Bryant and fiancee, Mona, Jimmy Bryant and Michael Bryant; nine grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; sister, Lillie Reynolds; and numerous nieces and nephews.
