William Bailey Allen died October 22, 1955, after a long illness. Mr. Allen was born May 25, 1866 in Banks, Ark. He was married to Georgia Ann Benefield in 1900. To them six children were born, four of whom are still living.
He is survived by two sons, Bige Allen, Pickens, Ark., Buck Allen, Galveston, Texas; two daughters, Mrs. Lizzie Luker, Bluffton; Mrs. Eliza Smith, Havana; five grandchildren, on great grandchild; one sister, Mrs. Benie A, Martin, Waldron, one half brother, Turner Terry, Havana.
