Geraldine Mae Anderson, 52, of Morgan Township, IN, passed away Tuesday, December 19, 2000 at Porter Memorial Hospital, Valparaiso, IN. Geraldine was a lifetime resident of Morgan Township and had worked for Strongbow Inn in Valparaiso as a Cook for 17 years. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Kouts, 25 year member of the Eastern Star Chapter 164, a 12-year member of 4-H and a graduate of Morgan Township High School. She was born February 6, 1948 in Valparaiso, IN, the daughter of Richard J. and Dorothy (Breitzke) Anderson.
She is survived by her mother, Dorothy Anderson of Morgan Township; five sisters; Laura Anderson, Phyllis Anderson, Dianne Anderson, Edris Batzka, all of Morgan Township, IN, Elma Lou Looft of Valparaiso, IN; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father; one brother, Rick Anderson.
Funeral services will be on Friday, December 22, 2000, at 10:00 a.m. at the First Presbyterian Church of Kouts, IN., with Rev. Rhonda Kruse officiating. Burial will be in the Adams Cemetery of Morgan Township. Memorials may be given to the First Presbyterian Church of Kouts. Visitation will be Thursday from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Kosanke Funeral Home of Kouts, IN.
