He was preceded in death by his father John Henry Abbott and father-in-law Bill Williams.
He leaves his wife Debby Abbott; step-son Jeremy Braden and wife Carrie; grandchildren Katelyn and Cameron Braden; mother Lucy Abbott; sisters and brothers-in-law Kathy and Ralph Dellinger, Ramona and Carroll Lowe, Anita and Dale Myers, and Tammy Abbott; and mother-in-law Minnie Williams.
Funeral service at 12 p.m. Saturday in the East Chapel of Atchley Funeral Home in Sevierville with Rev. France Parton and Rev. Sonny Webb officiating. Interment will follow in Eledge Cemetery at Bethany Baptist Church. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
