Saint and Martyr. He was from an old Roman family and was a highly educated man. Spent much of his time visting hospitals and churches. Eulogius was elected archbishop of Toledo but never took up his post as he was beheaded by the moorish authorities for encouraging christians to resist His Day is March 11 and he was killed in 859 AD. Highly revered in Cordoba.
