Chilton – Funeral services for George Baker, Jr., who died Monday, while enroute to St. Agnes hospital in Fond du Lac, following a heat stroke, will be held at the home in Chilton, Friday and at Trinity Presbyterian Church. The Reverend Ayers will be in charge, with interment in Hillside Cemetery. Mr. Baker was born Nov. 19, 1869, the son of Mr. and Mrs. George Baker, Sr., in the town of Brothertown. On Oct. 27, 1897 he was married to Miss Minnie L. Doon in the town of Brothertown. After their marriage the couple resided in the town of Chilton, where Mr. Baker served as school clerk for three terms.
Survivors are his wife, daughters, Adeline at home, Mrs. Viola Stache at Potter, Mrs. Leta Sprang of Hilbert; sons, Harvey and Theodore at home. There are three grandchildren and brothers, William of Chilton and Frank of Fond du Lac and five sisters.
