Mr. Booth was married September 29 1852 to Nancy J. Bradley, born in Bourbon county Kentucky June 23 1833, daughter of Hiram and Mary (Markwell) Bradley, the former born in Bourbon county Kentucky and the latter in Fleming county Kentucky.
They [Mr. and Mrs. Bradley] were married in Kentucky but moved to Adams county Illinois in 1844, where Mrs. Bradley died soon after their arrival, and was buried in the cemetery in Burton, in Burton township, Adams county. Hr husband returned to their former home, where he died in 1885. He was a farmer, and his family was of Scotch [sic: Scots/Scottish] descent.
Mr. and Mrs. Booth had eight children.
