WILTON — Funeral services for Earl Edward Atkinson, 80, have been set for
10:30 a.m. Saturday at the
Griffith Funeral Home, Wilton.
Visitation began at 1:30 this
afternoon. Burial will be in
the Oakdale cemetery.
Mr. Atkinson. 519 Chestnut
St., Wilton, died Wednesday
at Mercy Hospital in Davenport.
Born in Rochester on Feb. 13,
1893. he was a son of
Ralph D. and Lephema May
Miles Atkinson. Irene E. Kelley became his wife on Nov.
17, 1913 in Muscatine.
Mr. Atkinson was a past
member of the Wilton School
Board, a charter of member
of the Wilton Lions Club and
a former businessman.
