Lucinda, according to her interview for a history, stated that she was born in Jefferson, OH. It is known that Benjamin Dean and his wife Ruth (Barnes) Dean sold land in Richland County as early as 1815 and bought land in 1824 in Richland County, so Lucinda was one of the earliest births in Ohio.
Lucinda married Thomas Benjamin Andrews 9 Jun 1831. Lucinda and her husband had eleven children of whom six survived to adulthood. Some were born in Ohio, some in Illinois after they arrived in Knox County in 1841.
Lucinda and Thomas's daughter Elizabeth married one Kirk Jordan Hunter in 1861. Kirk's father was Isaac Hunter who later married Elizabeth's mother after their spouses had passed on.
