WILLIAM K. ADMIRE
William K. Admire, 72 of St. Joseph, died Monday, Nov. 9, 1998 at his residence.
Mr. Admire had been employed through the Boilermakers Union Local No. 83 in Kansas City. During WWII he served in the Navy.
Born in St. Louis on Mar. 31, 1926, he had lived most of his life in St. Joseph.
He was a member of the Sparta United Methodist Church, King Hill Lodge No. 376, A.F. & A.M., St. Joseph, and Boilermakers Union Local No. 83, Kansas City.
On May 7, 1948 he married Edith P. O'Dell in Savannah, Missouri. She survives of the home. Mr. Admire was preceded in death by a son, Jerry; his parents, William D. and Ethel; and two brothers, Dale and Raymond.
Additional survivors include three sons, Richard of Ashland, Missouri, Billy and Stephen, both of St. Joseph; and a brother, Perry of Denver, Colorado; five sisters, Violet Huff, Erma Nichols and Bobbie Steen, all of Brookfield, Missouri, Betty Wilcoxson of Polo, Missouri, and Clara Bish of St. Joseph; eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Memorial services will be at a later date. The body had been cremated. Arrangements are with Heaton, Bowman, Smith & Sidenfaden Chapel, St. Joseph.
