MRS. JOHN W. REYNOLDS
Mrs. John W. Reynolds, 76, the former Hattie Moores and a long-time resident of Bennington, died Monday at her home on Pleasant Street after a long illness.
She was born in Lubec, Maine, Oct 5, 1886, the daughter of Henry and Martha (Taylor) Moores. She was married in Bar Harbor, Maine, and lived in Proctor before moving to Bennington. Her employment here had included the Cooper Needle Co., the old Collar Shop and the Catamount Co.
Mrs. Reynolds was a member of St. Peter's Episcopal Church and belonged to Branch 1 of St. Mary's Guild.
She leaves a son, H. Bradley Reynolds of Mechanicville, N.Y.; a daughter, Mrs. Wallace Hall of Bennington; a brother, Joseph A. Moores of Bangor, Maine; and a sister, Mrs. Carrie Rose of Monroe, N.Y.
The funeral will be held at 2 pm Thursday at Hanson-Walbridge Funeral Home with the Rev. Frederick B. Wolf, St. Peter's church rector, officiating. Burial will be in Park Lawn Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home today and Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm.
