Professional Hockey Player. Gerard who was 5'09" and 168lbs played hockey for teams in the National Hockey League (NHL). He played the position of forward and defence for the Ottawa Senators from 1913 to 1923, Toronto St. Pats in 1922, Montreal Canadiens from 1923 to 1924, Montreal Maroons from 1924 to 1929, and the St. Louis Eagles from 1934 to 1935. Also a coach he coached the New York Americans from 1930 to 1932. He won the Stanley Cup in 1920, 1921, 1922, and 1923. Gerard was inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame in 1945.
