Mrs. Mary Allison Called By Death
Mrs. Mary Green Allison, 89, died early Sunday morning in the home of her son, William Allison, in Cumberland.
Mrs. Allison had lived in Cumberland for 29 years, moving there from Brookfield township. Her husband, Jesse J. Allison, died several years ago. She was a member of the Cumberland Presbyterian church.
Besides the son at whose home she died, Mrs. Allison is survived by another son, Rev. J. Murray Allison, pastor of the Congregational larger parish, Marietta; four grandchildren, two great-grand-children; three sisters, Miss Carrie Green and Mrs. Agnes Hickman, both of Cumberland, and Mrs. Ora McCrackn, Zanesville.
Funeral will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. in the Tom funeral home, Cumberland. Rev. E.W. Lodwick, former Cumberland pastor, but now of Seville, will officiate. Burial will be in Cumberland cemetery. The body will be taken this morning to the home of the son and returned to the funeral home in time for the service.
