Obituary: Funeral for 83 Year Old Woman Wednesday - Mrs. Sam O'Donnell, 83 years old, died at her home four miles southeast of Martinsburg Tuesday afternoon at four o'clock, after an illness of five years duration. The funeral was conducted at the home on Wednesday afternoon and burial was in the family cemetery on the farm. Mrs. Minerva Wylie O'Donnell was born in the community where all of her life was lived. More than 50 years ago she was married to Samuel O'Donnell of near Martinsburg and their entire married life was spent on the same farm. Of the five children born to them, two with their father, survive. They are Mrs. Grace Stuart, Martinsburg and Rodney O'Donnell, Mexico. She also leaves nine grandchildren, a sister, Mrs. Hayes of St. Louis, and other relatives. Mrs. O'Donnell was a kindly, Christian woman whose every interest was in her home and her family. She had many friends in this community who are grieved at her passing. The Monitor extends heartfelt sympathy to the bereaved family.
