Donnie Ray Jones, 57, of William Lane, died Friday, Jan. 23, 2004, at Lexington Memorial Hospital.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Davidson Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel, by the Revs. Gary Gibson and Brian Makray. Burial will follow in Forest Hill Memorial Park Cemetery.
Mr. Jones was born in Wilmington on June 26, 1946, to Aaron Burr Jones Sr. and Mary Louise McCoy Jones. He was employed with Apac of Winston-Salem. He was preceded in death by his father and two brothers, Aaron Franklin and Aaron Burr Jones Jr.
Surviving are his wife, Cynthia Quinn Jones of the home; his mother of Gold Hill; five brothers, Thomas Earl Jones of Locust ,NC, Bobby Lea Jones of Gold Hill,NC, Stacy Eugene Jones of Rockwell,NC,Maurice Wayne Jones of Butner,NC and Wesley Dale Jones of Raleigh NC; and two sisters, Joyce Russell of Gold Hill,NC and Darlene Moyle of Wilmington,NC.
