Frank Lewis HENRICLE Sr. was born July 15, 1843 in Ohio -to parents born in Germany. He enlisted in the US Civil War as a Private on 20 June 1861 at the age of 22 in Company B, 7th Infantry Regiment Ohio. He was wounded 9 August 1862 at Cedar Mountain, Virginia and was mustered out on July 6, 1864. He married in 1866 Frances Elizabeth BROOKS the daughter of Hugh M. BROOKS and Elizabeth LAPHAM. Frank and Elizabeth HENRICLE had 3 children. Frances died October 28, 1911 at home, 10700 Everton Ave. N.E., Cleveland, Ohio at age 64. Frank died December 7, 1917 at their Everton Avenue home at age 74. His funeral was in Painesville, Ohio. Both were buried in Mentor Municipal Cemetery, Mentor, Lake county, Ohio. Their children: James HENRICLE died in 1875 at age 6; Hugh Brooks HENRICLE died June 30, 1909 in Cleveland, Ohio of heart failure at age 42; Frank L. HENRICLE Jr. died September 12, 1928 at age 57 in Painesville, Ohio.
