"Heinrich "Henry" von dem Bach, 67, of Neenah passed away on Saturday, June 28, 2003, at Vallhaven Care Center following complications from lengthy illnesses. He was born on June 29, 1935, in Koenigsburg, West Prussia, Germany, the son of Erich and Ruth (Apfeld) von dem Bach.
On February 7, 1959, in Milwaukee, he was married to Kathleen Hingsamer. Henry retired from Party Concepts in 2001, where he was the director of MIS and later direction of IS until his retirement. Henry loved to act and sing with local theater groups both in Eau Claire and the Attic Theater. He was on the board of the Chippewa Valley Theater. He loved to travel all over the world, fish and just plain have fun.
Survivors include his wife of 44 years, Kathleen von dem Bach of Neenah; his daughter, Ruth of Eden Prairie; and two sons, Mark and Greg both of Madison.
In his memory, Henry's medical supplies are being donated to Neenah/Menasha's free clinic. In accordance with Henry's wishes, a private family service will be held at a later date and his cremains will be laid to rest at his favorite fishing hole.
