Charlie Dusing died at his home last Friday night after an illness of two weeks with pneumonia. He was one of the early settlers in this vicinity, locating on a claim just over in Grant county at the opening, residing there until his death. His father, John Dusing, Sr., and sisters Lizie and Bertha, from Milwaukee, came Sunday to attend the funeral. Charlie had many friends in this neighborhood. The Odd Fellows of Hillsdale of which lodge the deceased was a member, had full charge of the services. Burial was made in the Enid cemetery. We are going down the valley one by one.
