Vivian Gordon Wolfe Bagley
ANDREWS - Vivian Gordon Wolfe Bagley died Monday, April 22, 2002. She was born
Feb. 2, 1920, in Carnegie, Okla. She died at her home with her family in
attendance. Vivian was a member of the Emmanuel Baptist Church when she moved to
Andrews in 1950. She retired from the Andrews Independent School District
cafeteria at San Andres Elementary after 19 years. She was an active member of
First Baptist Church. She was a friend to everyone she knew and considered
herself lucky to be a part of Andrews for her entire life. She was born to Fate
and Julia Gordon, who preceded her in death, as well as her husband, Henry
Wolfe; daughter, Marion Wolfe Haile; and grandson, Richard Linton. Henry Wolfe
was the father of all her children. Her husband, Regie Bagley, preceded her in
death.
She was a fun-loving grandma, an active and terrific gran-gran and full-time
mother to seven children. Her friends and family will miss her sunny smile.
She is survived by her children, Nadean Shipley, Maxine Kinney and husband
Charlie, Janice Brown and husband Benny and Marsha Perez and husband Joe, all of
Andrews, Carolyn Meyers of Odessa, Larry Wolfe and wife Joann of Breckenridge
and Shirley McWilliams and her husband Bobby of Greenwood. She has one brother
still living, Clarence Gordon and wife Hazel and their daughter, Patricia. She
has 21 grandchildren, Tracy Mainka, Rachelle Gaines, Tonya Horn, Terri Sanders,
Tammie Hernandez, Glen Haile, Kim Ezzell, Regina Howard, Greg Martin, Tina
Martin, Brenda Wolfe, Tony Meyers, Lisa Meyers, Kim Meyers, Sherry Berry, Stacy
Haynes, Steven Wolfe, Kenneth Wolfe, Ricky Wolfe and Rene and Jennifer Elkins.
She has 31 great-grandchildren, Roxanne, Paula and Ryan Mainka, Scott Gaines,
Chris and Lockie Breeding, Stormi and Tye Sanders, Brandi, Josh and Kristina
Hernandez, Crystal and Zack Ezzell, Jessica, Katrina and Elizabeth Martin, Amber
and Stefan Martin, Bryne and Bayli Berry, Mindy and Tanner Haynes, Tabitha,
Gregory, Tye, Raylynn, Angela, Kevin and Joe Dean Wolfe and Brady Kirby.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, April 25, 2002, at First Baptist Church of
Andrews with the Rev. H.A. Hanks officiating.
