Here is Mr. Sookiasian's obituary should you wish to add it to your memorial:Theodore Sookiasian, Sr., of West Chester Theodore Sookiasian, Sr., 87, of West Chester, passed away at home on August 25, 2011. Ted was born in Philadelphia, PA in 1923. He graduated from Overbrook High School, class of 1941. He also earned an Associate's degree from Drexel University in Accounting. Ted served as a medic and staff sergeant in Patton's Third Army from France to the current Czech Republic. He earned the Bronze Star and the EAME Campaign Medal with 5 Battle Stars. Ted married the love of his life, Anne, with whom he had four loving children, ten grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. He started Treasure Island Pet Center in 1979 and is fondly remembered by his many customers. He was a dedicated member of St. Mark's Armenian Catholic Church. Ted was the husband of the late Anne Dulgerian, beloved brother of Naz Sookiasian, loving father of Regine Glarner (Dave), Patrice Keshgegian (Albert), Ted, Jr. (Beth) and Gregory (Karen).
