Bennie M. Oller, 63, who resided at 402 West Samuel Street, Assumption, died at 10:50 Tuesday night in St. Mary's Hospital of Decatur where he had
been a patient for one week.
He was born at Hillsboro on June 19, 1915, a son of David and Bertha Richardson Oller and was employed as an engineer for Burke Pump Company of Decatur. He was a veteran of World War II. Survivors include a brother, Frank Oller of Morrisonville and a sister,
Mrs. Leona Garland of Moline.
Funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock Friday afternoon in Sherwood Funeral Home of assumption with Rev. Harold Sheldon of the United Methodist Church of Assumption as officiant and interment will follow in Pleasant View Cemetery with military rites to be conducted by the Assumption Veterans of Foreign Wars Post.
Friends may call after 7 o'clock Thursday evening in the funeral home.
